#Adobe #AE problem Solved: Mismatch Output Module @adobeae @aftereffects

Lately, at work but not home, I've been getting the following error from within Adobe After Effects CS4 whenever I tried to render an HD video with the H.264 codec.

After Effects: AEGP Plugin Media IO Plugin: There is a mismatch between Output Module settings and Transcode Setting. Please verify your settings and try again. Invalid framesize/framrate for this Level. Please lower the Frame Dimensions, Frame Rate or increase the Profile and Level and try again. Medial02 error: 0xc00b0002 Frame dimensions out of bounds.

After much Google-ing and a lot of reading, I believe that I have solved my problem. One word: Levels. I went into the advanced settings for my output and changed my levels to "5.0"

I hope this helps anyone else out there in solving their issue!

Google Voice Is Down!

6a00d8341daa6853ef0120a5036abe970b-800wi[1] (43 KB)

Whenever you call a GV# currently, it rings 4-5 times and then goes to silence. However, if you call my VZW# it goes straight to my GV# Voice Mail. All over the web the number of complaints are rising. I myself use, and depend, on Google Voice for all my phone calls. Check out the numerous reports of outages on Google's forums.

My issues, that I know of, started last night. My mother needed my help, but I was unreachable. The voice mail she left me, gone. Others are reporting the same problems.
  • I just tried accessing Google Voice from my phone and it worked. BUT when I try to place a call online it says 'calling you' and nothing happens.
  • Same thing for me, stopped working last night, all callers go straight to voicemail but I am still able to make calls via Gvoice on my Nexus one.
  • Same here, starting 6/20. Glad it's not just me.
With all these complaints, and support tickets, there is still no official word yet from GoogleI've also noticed, and have seen reported, that the call widget is not working. I tried clicking the link myself to add it to a site, it's a dead link at present.

If you use Google Voice, are you missing calls too?

iPhone iOS4 Does, Now. (Continued story) #imjustsaying

You may remember my earlier article, iphone does but androids been doing. This is part two.

-------------------------------------------------------
Apple has just released the iOS 4 update for iPhone and iPod touch owners. The iPhone 4 might not be in stores until Thursday, but existing owners can take advantage of the new software features coming to the new device starting now. [read the full article at Mashable]
-------------------------------------------------------

It's nice to see that Apple has gotten on the boat with these things. For example, folders. M-Dos had those back in 1978. My old RIM phone had those too on the SD card. My Android has them of course. Shoot, even the Mac OSX here at work has them! Good "jobs" Apple. Way to come into the '80 feature-margin with this update.

Said examples also had multitasking too. I'm just saying.

Google Unleashing A Cloud Based iTunes Competitor This Fall - #andr0idd0es

Where do you get your music? iTunes.
Where do you get your movies? iTunes.
Where do you get your tv shows? iTunes.
Why do you need an app for Android to enjoy your music? iTunes.
What were Google, Universal Music Group, and Sony Music discussing last December? iTunes.
...to be more precise, the new kid in town - [Google Music].

Cnet, TechCrunch and major music companies are all reporting that Google is getting ready to storm the beaches of Apple's baby, iTunes. Let's go back to the keynotes from day 2 of Google I/O and see what may have gone unoticed by some.

1. Android devices can now purchase and download music from the Android Market, over the air.
2. Google is working to reproduce iTunes abilities with just a browser (their new approach to success), no iTunes.

Some may ask, "Well, What about existing iTunes libraries?" Google is reportedly enabling users to play non-DRM music straight from Android devices. While their demo at Google I/O showed music "magically" appearing in a library, there was a string attached: it was a stream.

Streaming is a goal that Google has for their music services to come, but the real magic comes with the ever looming 'cloud' that is Google's backbone. While "Apple's managers haven't revealed many details about their plans, but did discuss offering iTunes users a means to store copies of their music libraries on Apple's servers," reported cnet, Google knows the cloud. They are the cloud. My growing-by-the-second 7.49 GB Gmail account can testify right along with my 3 (might I add also free) Google Apps accounts.

Now for those of you that think that Apple has the upper hand when it comes to music, vs. an advertising company, Google may surprise you. Google Discover Music and [Google Music] are results of trials carried out with Lala.com and iLike before Apple and Myspace ended them with a buyout.

In all honesty, big lables are tired of the iTunes monopoly. They get one source. One price. One way, or the highway. They want choices. We want choices. To quote Google I/O, "this is not the future we want." For years Google, Facebook, and even AOL have been asked to step up to the iTunes plate.

As early as this fall, it's on!

Ajia's second number [PICTURES]

Other camera died, but that means I can post these now. Stage lighting and no flash photography makes for blurry pictures.

Ajia is in purple and has bigger hair.

Foursquare may ruin your life!!

It can create obsessive behaviour and the desire to constantly check your phone for updates.
- just like twitter.

You will be searching for friend to make and follow.
- just like twitter.

Secret tips and local info will be yours to exploit and use.
- just like twitter.

In fact, Foursquare has already been touted as the next big thing after twitter, by many blog & press sites.

Foursquare : Why it may be the next twitter (a pretty good summary of Foursquare)

This service has a narcissistic appeal and draws you in via simple things we all love...

Get over here! Jojo needs to see this...

"If you jumped straight into that above video then you are as excited as I am for this possible future of Mortal Kombat. Even though this deviates from the original storyline a little bit, this reminds me of how I was in awe the first time I witnessed a Fatality in the arcades as a kid.

Before anyone gets excited I want you to understand that this is only a pitch trailer for a possible movie. We hear it was brought to WB and awaiting word if it will get a go ahead or not. Warner Brothers acquired Midway last year.

I loved the appearance of 7 of 9, Jeri Ryan, in all her beautifulness had this to say on her Twitter account: “It’s not a game trailer…was made for the director to sell WB on his vision for a reimagined MK film…I did it as a favor to a friend. No idea yet what WB’s reaction to it was. And I’m not sure how you can contact WB…to push them to make it. But you guys are resourceful…!”
The short was directed by Kevin Tancharoen (Who also directed the FAME remake).

I liked the first MK movie years ago but that second one was a little less desirable. I hope you guys are as excited about this as I am."

Deus EX 3 - Will it fulfill it's legacy? [VIDEO] -

Dues Ex, the original, was a very unique game for the pc. It allowed you to honestly make choices that would in turn result in how the game, and it's characters, reacted. It was not impossible to beat the original game without ever firing a shot. Or, you could kill everyone. Was your choice.

While the second installment wasn't so hot, the third one definitely has a legacy to live up to in the video game arena. I'm really looking forward to seeing this fantastic [looking] game in action!

So, @teamEVGA replaced my 8800 GTX SC w/ a GTS 250; Thanks!

I am so stoked. The guys at EVGA decided that my old card was too old. Awesome! I was thinking the same thing. LOL

So now I have 1GB for my GPU and can run OpenGL 3.0; it's also going to use less power because it's got a single 6-pin power connector instead of double.

I see this as a free upgrade. What do you think?
