Smurf Movie - Looking terrible so far. #FAIL

When the evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world and into ours -- in fact, smack dab in the middle of Central Park. Just three apples high and stuck in the Big Apple, the Smurfs must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.

Where has all the creativity gone? Hollywood, you suck. It's so sad that something so beloved by my generation has to be dragged through the mud, along with everything else. This trailer gets an "epic fail" from me. If the movie is anything like it, then it will be getting the same rating.

This is so sad.

Jedi Church - Jedi Religion and Jedi Faith

Jedi Religious Faith

The Jedi Church believes that there is one all powerful force that binds all things in the universe together. The Jedi religion is something innate inside everyone of us, the Jedi Church believes that our sense of morality is innate. So quiet your mind and listen to the force within you!

An Official Religion - Census Issues.

Make sure you answer the religion question correctly. The NZ Census bureau believe that the Jedi answer means "Response outside of scope" or "Answer understood, but will not be counted", whereas "satanism", "wican", "yoga" etc are valid answers. The sheer number of people who entered "Jedi" was a significant in the last census, approximately 20000 in NZ alone (indicative result given confidentially). I note there were more Jedi's than Assembly of God, or Jehovah's Witnesses.

In order for the Jedi church to grow, we need access to these statistics just like any other church/order. In the UK the number of people who answered Jedi, were greater than many other common Christian denominations. In fact, in the UK, 2% of people in Brighton are of the Jedi Faith.

It is not against the law to answer Jedi, you are welcome to have any faith you wish. It is the governments responsibility to accept our faith and accurately record the statistics.

All Welcome

The Jedi Church recognises that there is one all powerful force that binds all things in the universe together, and accepts all races and species from all over the universe as potential members of the religion. Join the Jedi Church today!

Our church had 21000 unique visitors last month. The Jedi Church is a good force in the universe.

The line " I note there were more Jedi's than Assembly of God, or Jehovah's Witnesses" stands out to me.

Dear @justinbieber, no one ever got a girl back with a dance-off [VIDEO]

I have to say, this video was really telling a story until about the middle. Justin Bieber is chasing after the girl that dumped him in the song. Cool. He chases her. He gets slapped. He slides down a railing. He almost looses his foot in a bowling ball return. All cool. Suddenly, a dance off begins... Why?

Raising The Bar #FAIL - @attnews - for @ANDR0IDD0ES

First we have the iPhone 4 antenna issue. Then we have Steve Jobs saying "there is no issue, [only Zuul]." Then we have Apple saying "we were aware of it."

And the beat goes on.

Today, AT&T has stepped in the iPoo too. Apple Inc. has responded with "we're stunned" after finding out that their iPhones use a "totally wrong" formula to show just how many bars of signal strength they are really getting. Now Apple is saying... drum roll please... that THIS is why the bars are dropping when you hold your phone... [wrong]. We've all seen the videos where the bars drop at a tremendous pace. The drop seems exaggerated because the phone is improperly calculating, and therefore displaying, four or five bars of signal strength when it shouldn't, Apple said. "Their big drop in bars is because their high bars were never real in the first place," the company said in an official statement.

There are no bars, only Zuul.

So this is all new news, right? Wrong. The original iPhone in 2007, along with the following 3G and 3GS, suffered from this miscalculation as well. "We will fix its signal strength formula to conform to other AT&T phones through a free software update for iPhone models 3G, 3Gs and 4 within a few weeks. We are also making bars 1, 2 and 3 a bit taller so they will be easier to see," Apple said.

So lets recap here:
  • No signal.
  • You're doing it wrong.
  • We knew about this.
  • Go buy a case.
  • There is no problem.
  • Miscalculation.
  • Signal isn't real.
  • It's not our fault.
What do you think the next excuse is? My vote is "the dog ate it."

Pee-Wee to have another Big Adventure!

What's old will be new again, as creepy children's show host Pee-Wee Herman might be coming back to the movies. Comedy mastermind Judd Apatow is developing a brand-new Pee-Wee Herman movie with actor and Pee-Wee portrayer (and pee-pee fondler) Paul Reubens. The movie sounds like it's going back to the roots of the excellent Pee-wee's Big Adventure, with a road trip that leads to "a gigantic adventure." Pee-Wee has enjoyed a bit of a revival lately with a stage show in Los Angeles and hipsters' insatiable appetites for anything vintage, dude. [Variety]
